Breast Cancer! Oh No!
One day I came in from school at age 10 and there were two preachers sitting by my Dad. We'd never gone to church much, so it kind of shocked me when I was introduced to two preachers. They had asked my Dad if he wanted to accept Jesus as his Saviour. After they explained the plan of salvation to him, he decided that he would believe, repent and accept Jesus as his only Saviour. They then explained some scriptures to me and I also accepted Jesus as my Saviour! Later that night, my mother came to Jesus and repented of her sins. We were all three saved on the same day!
I got married when I was 19 and we went to church spasmodically. We had two sons in 2 1/2 years and tried to go to Church regularly after that. My husband was saved and baptized when he was 20.
When we had been married about five years, we went to a home prayer meeting and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Bible became much clearer to us and we felt God's love and compassion in us much stronger. We praise God for that experience!
When I was 32, we had another son. He was our added blessing!
In 1984 I was diagnosed with breast cancer in stage 3. I was prayed for by the elders of our church and also by many friends in different denominations. I praise God for each prayer that was prayed for my healing! I had a lumpectomy in January, 1985 and took chemo and radiation. It was an ordeal, but the Lord kept His healing hand and His strength and grace upon me. I only got sick once while I was taking chemo and that lasted for about 2 hours. I really praise the Lord for keeping His hand upon me! I have been healed for 16 years and I praise God for His healing! He's been good to me.
The Lord has kept my sons, although they haven't been perfect Christians. Who has? But I'm thankful for them and my Christian husband.
I pray that anyone who reads this will accept Jesus as their Saviour by saying, "Jesus, I repent of my sins, I'm sorry for my sins, I know that the only way to get to Heaven is to accept YOU as my only Saviour. You paid the price by dying on the cross for me. I thank You, Jesus, for coming into my heart and life right now. I thank You for saving me and writing my name in the Book of life. Thank You, Jesus, for becoming my Saviour right now in Jesus' Name. Amen."
God Bless You
